Hello, my name is Sarah Bowlby. I graduated from Western Michigan University
in 2020 with my master’s in social work. I began my career specializing in helping
individuals who struggle with addiction and substance use disorders. I approach
substance use from a harm reduction perspective which supports a person’s right
to choose the nature of their recovery. I also have extensive experience with
crisis intervention through Community Mental Health, and working with diverse
populations, including trauma, depression, anxieties, ADHD, self-esteem
concerns, family dynamics, grief, and life-changing events. My goal is to provide
a safe, supportive environment for any individual to explore their unique
challenges and make progress toward creating what they feel is a healthy and
satisfying life. I consider that one approach does not fit all and utilize different
techniques and modalities in therapy based on my client’s needs. I am also
certified in EMDR. I look forward to helping you! I am working under the supervision of Licensed Masters Social Worker, Rachael Gilbert.
