If you have found your way to this page it is likely that you are struggling with something significant in your life. It can be a relationship, personal concern, or professional issue, and sometimes it’s all of those things at once. No matter what brought you to this page, I’m glad you’re here. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming and I want to acknowledge how hard it can be to reach out for help.

I received my Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2010 and ever since I have worked with individuals who struggle with stress and anxiety, depression, chronic illness, grief/loss as well as trauma and PTSD. I have experience working with clients with ADHD and ASD who need help building their executive functioning skills. I also have a strong pull toward mothers and the perinatal community, including people struggling with infertility. I have attended several trainings around the complexities and nuances of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and have my PMH-C from Postpartum Support International. I have also been trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Not familiar with ART? I encourage you to check out and click on the link and see if this incredible method of treatment appeals to you. Aside from ART, I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, strengths-based therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and relational therapy.

I firmly believe that mental health doesn’t always have to be heavy or dreary and finding greater psychological flexibility can be a fun (and sometimes funny) journey of self-discovery. I pride myself on finding joy, even in difficult times, while still respecting the gravity and pain of what you are experiencing. That said, if you think we might be a good match, I would be honored to work with you.
